How to thread a sewing machine needle with the Needle Threader

Just place the thread from right to left through the slit in the threader (1) , slide the threader down the needle (2) until the pin pushes the thread through the needle eye (3). Gently pull the thread away from the needle (4). The hook on the threader can then be used to pull the thread completely through (5).

 Every time you remove a needle from the pincushion to use on your machine, put a pin in the corresponding square in the table to mark which needle you are currently using.. When you change the needle for another type or thickness, remove the pin and place the needle in the corresponding square so you can reuse your needle later and keep it organized at the same time. This sewing ruler is a 6 inch long aluminum gauge with a red sliding guide. Use it to quickly and consistently measure short spaces when sewing or quilting. Measuring correctly can have an enormous impact on the look of any sewing project!

You can set the measurement with the spacer and easily and quickly measure ⅝”, ¼” or ¾” hems or seam allowances. Long tape measures can easily get in the way when making these short measurements. The risk of making mistakes is much greater with regular sewing or quilting rulers. The set plastic spacer is a life saver here!

The MadamSew Chalk Markers don’t fade or brush off too easily, but at the same time they are not hard to rub off either. Gently rub the fabric with your hands or a brush, wash out with plain water, or remove with a damp cloth. 

Always test on a scrap or back of all project fabrics before using any marker on a finished project. You never know how a certain fabric will react!
