The mat is made up of two parts, the top red cutting mat and the soft, black bottom, through which the rotating mechanism comes through.

Rotating (mat is unlocked): Put your fingers in the holes of the turning mechanism’s two sliders and slide them toward the center of the mechanism. This will give you a round shape to the mechanism. The mat and base are now unattached allowing the mat to rotate freely 360 degrees.

Just place the thread from right to left through the slit in the threader (1) , slide the threader down the needle (2) until the pin pushes the thread through the needle eye (3). Gently pull the thread away from the needle (4). The hook on the threader can then be used to pull the thread completely through (5).

This nifty Ruler Grip makes a comfortable handle for your quilt rulers. Just attach it to any ruler by the strong suction cup. Remove and replace it any time you like on your different rulers. With the help of this ruler handle, you can grab a ruler quickly while measuring, marking and cutting, move it around easily and put it in the exact position needed to measure, mark and cut.
