These classic Madam Sew Pinking Shears are a sewing essential, especially if you are into dressmaking. The saw-toothed blades leave a zig zag edge when you cut fabrics or other materials. Put your pinking shears in your right hand. Place your thumb in the smallest grip and your other 4 fingers in the larger grip. Grab your fabric, position the shears on the seam edge, for example, and cut slowly.
