I started sewing when I was 9 from my grandmother. Now I’m 71 and teaching my 9 year old granddaughter. We’re making blankets now.

I bought the box of sewing things for my daughter and I know she will be so happy with it. But she will have to wait until Christmas to open it as I do my Christmas shopping early. I will save all the emails I have from you so that I can send them to her also I will make sure she comes here to sew so we can do it together.

I started quilting with my mom and her church friends then she pasted away and I have made a few quilts since. I wish they would bring back sewing and cooking in schools cause they could really use it, now days people can’t cook or even sew a button on. Thank you I have enjoyed read thru some of y’alls comments it’s been great.
