This little handy measuring tool is perfect for checking small measurements when you are quilting or sewing. Use this guide for checking hem depth, making sure you’re using the seam allowance you want or marking small intervals between pleats or buttonholes.
This gauge has 12 sewing measurements in inches, from 1/4 to 2 inches. Every common seam and hem allowance in sewing and quilting is integrated in this little ruler.
Check how far your needle is positioned to the edge of your presser foot and verify the exact seam allowance. It’s a valuable aid for many dressmaking tasks. Use it for measuring & marking necklines, armholes, miter corners, buttonholes, hemlines, side seams, pleats & tucks.
Each square protrusion is a different width. Just find the measurement you need and hold that protrusion against your pattern or on your fabric to mark or fold that exact width.

The ruler has a small hole in the middle, so you can attach it to a key ring, or hang it on a hook in your sewing room.
