This little goody bag holds a sampling of our clips (4) and XL clips (2) for you to try out. Sure you can use pins…but…

Clips…

• are fast and painless
• can hold a lot of fabric layers without distortion
• are not too big, they don't get in the way when sewing
• have have flat backs and flat sides - whatever you hold is held flat so that the hem or edge doesn't pucker or wrinkle up
• are easy to find when you drop them on the floor
• are a great alternative to sewing pins on projects where you don't want pinholes in your fabric (laminate, leather, vinyl, silk, satin, ...)
• have line markings on the bottom to help you place your clips
• are also loved by quilters for clipping binding in place when preparing to sew it up
• are also referred to as hemming clips or wonder clips

XL Clips…offer the benefits of the regular sized clips but are larger making them great when working with thicker fabrics, multiple layers or if you want to avoid pinholes in more delicate fabrics, vinyls, or leathers.

The clips have 

• raised round teeth to grip the fabric firmly
• a thick gauge spring that doesn’t weaken with use
• seam allowance markings : ¼ inch and ⅜ inch and 3/16 inch 
• Dimensions: 1” long x ⅜” wide; clip opens to ½ inch. 

The XL clips

• a flat flat for easy feeding up to the presser foot without damaging your precious fabric
• seam allowance markings: 0.20" (5 mm), 0.25" (7 mm), 0.40" (10 mm), 0.60" (15 mm), 0.80" (20 mm), and 1" (25 mm).
• Dimensions: 2 ¼" long by ½" wide; clips opens to 3/4” wide 

Use the clips or XL clips like you would use sewing pins. Just push the clips wide open and place them on your fabric’s edge.
