1. Choose the mat for your job: mini (9" × 11") beside the machine for piecing; standard (17" × 13½") for blocks; XL (17" × 24") for long seams, borders, and backing.

2. Place the Mini Iron Rest alongside whichever mat you're using and heat the Mini Iron on it.

3. Press seams and blocks on the wool mat; the dense wool sets them crisp from both sides.

4. Rest the iron flat on the silicone rest between presses.

5. For long seams and borders, work along the XL mat's length in sections.

6. Air all mats after use; do not machine wash; protect surfaces beneath from steam.

7. Store the standard and XL mats in their vinyl pouches.
