Why You'll Love It
- Perfect Seams from Day One — The Seam Guide Ruler and Magnetic Seam Guide work together so you always sew at exactly the right seam allowance — no guessing, no re-measuring, no crooked blocks.
- Mark It, Then Make It Disappear — The heat erasable pens let you mark seam lines, quilting designs, and dart placements freely, knowing one pass of a hot iron erases every trace — no washing required.
- No More Pin Pricks — The 50 multicolor sewing clips hold fabric flat and even without a single pin, making binding, hemming, and layering faster and safer on any fabric type.
- Thread Your Needle in Seconds — The Needle Inserter and Threader does the hard part for you, making it easy even if your vision or hand steadiness makes traditional threading a struggle.
- Five Tools, One Great Starting Point — This bundle covers the most common beginner frustrations in one purchase: inaccurate seams, hard-to-remove marks, shifting fabric, and threading woes.

- Works on nearly all fabrics — test on scrap first; extra care with non-washable fabrics (e.g., silk)
- Important note: Marks may return if exposed to temperatures below 32°F/0°C; rare ghost marks can be treated with Amodex®
- Comes in its own carrying pouch with pocket-clip pen caps
4. Magnetic Seam Guide
- Material: Steel with strong embedded magnet
- Attaches to: Metal needle plate/throat plate of sewing machines
- Use: Set desired seam allowance width; guide fabric edge against the guide while sewing for consistent, straight seams
- Best suited for seam allowances of ¼" and wider; requires at least 1.5" of clear metal throat plate surface
- Note: Will not adhere to plastic needle plates
5. Needle Inserter and Threader for Sewing Machines
- Material: Plastic
- Length: 3 inches
- Weight: 0.18 oz
- Two-function tool: One end threads the needle (pin pushes thread through needle eye); opposite end is a needle inserter (tiny hole holds needle for easy insertion into machine)
- Compatible with: Sewing machine needles size 70/11 and larger; also works with serger and overlocking machine needles; double needles
- Includes printed user instructions
- Set your seam allowance with the Seam Guide Ruler. Place the ruler on your machine's needle plate under the presser foot. Lower your needle into the hole matching your desired seam allowance (e.g., ¼"). Press the Magnetic Seam Guide against the ruler on the needle plate. Remove the ruler — the magnet stays in place as your fabric guide.
- Mark your fabric with the heat erasable pens. Choose your pen color (white for dark fabrics; red, blue, or black for light fabrics). Write seam lines, quilting designs, or placement marks directly on your fabric. Allow white ink a few seconds to become visible. Store pens tip-down and tightly capped when not in use.
- Clip your fabric layers into place. Push a sewing clip wide open and place it along the edge of your fabric — just as you would a pin, but without the prick. Use the seam allowance markings on the clip base to position clips consistently for hemming and binding.
- Thread your sewing machine needle. Slide your thread from right to left through the slit in the Needle Threader. Slide the threader down the needle until the pin pushes the thread through the eye. Use the small hook to pull the thread all the way through. Works best with needle sizes 70/11 and larger.
- Insert a new needle when needed. Use the needle inserter end of the threader tool — place the needle into the small hole and guide it into the machine's needle clamp without touching the sharp tip.
- Sew with the Magnetic Seam Guide in place. Guide your fabric edge along the magnetic guide as you sew. It holds firmly on the metal needle plate and won't shift mid-seam.
- Erase your marks when done. Heat your iron to at least 180°F/80°C and press over any marked areas. Marks disappear completely with heat — no washing needed.
