The Knit Foot (also known as: Tricot Foot) makes sewing knit or other stretchy fabric easier. It is a specialty presser foot that helps to prevent puckering, thread skipping, and thread breakage.

It’s a wonderful foot to have around for sewing T-shirts, knits, and other stretch fabrics. With the Knit Foot, you can make your hems and seams smooth and professional looking.

The Knit Foot is designed to hold the fabric down firmly while the needle pierces the fabric, and then lets up on the fabric as the feed dogs rise and carry the fabric along for the next stitch. The Knit Foot basically pinches the layers of fabric together to ensure there is no slipping when you sew and then  jumps over the fabric to allow it to move forward.

This Presser Foot is also included in our top-of-the-line 32 pcs Presser Foot Set.

The knit foot is a universal snap-on foot. It is controlled by the arm on the side of the foot that sits above the needle bar and moves along with the needle. There is a little rubbery plastic blue "stopper" piece that grips the knit fabric firmly, stopping slips or slides as you work.

It's the WOW foot!

This knit foot works so well I am using it for more than knits. I have used my walking foot for years, but like this much more. It's a great addition to my arsenal of specialty sewing attachments. 👌👏

RoseAnn Herkenratt

I was a little doubtful about the knit foot and its ability. I was quickly amazed when I tried it out on some knit fabric! It performed exactly as described!
