The product works very well. I love that the handle extends to a workable length for me to not have to bend or get up to search for dropped pins/items. The magnet is a nice weight but also conveniently fits in my sewing tool carrier. Very handy tool and I'm sure I will use it quite often.
I have to tell you of an earlier experience. When my son was young I was at a friend's home as she was helping me with a dress I was making. All of a sudden my son said his foot was hurting and he had something in it. I checked and sure enough he had stepped on one of the straight pins and it was lodged in the bottom of his foot. Had I had the pin retriever I thing we could have avoided that incident. So I am grateful for this tool and highly recommend this tool, especially if you have young children in your household that could be injured by pins being dropped and not rettrieved.
