1. Set the Mini Iron Rest on your work surface within arm's reach of your machine.

2. Remove the mini iron's travel bag, plug it in, and set it to heat on the rest.

3. Press each seam or block as you sew, laying the iron flat on the silicone rest between presses.

4. Keep the raised lip toward you so the hot soleplate stays contained and your hand stays clear.

5. When finished, switch off and unplug the iron; let both cool before packing away.

6. Clean the rest with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly before storing.
