Use a tension type curtain rod or one where you can feed the “ring” of the hangers over the end of the rod as the rings do not open. You can even use a dowel in a pinch. Fits rods up to 1” in diameter.

The clips open up to ¼” and can hold up to 3 lbs each. Just think of all of the things you can hang!
