1. Set Your Seam Allowance — Place the Seam Guide Ruler on the needle plate, lower the needle into the hole for your allowance, and lock the Magnetic Seam Guide against the ruler's edge. Remove the ruler — the guide stays put for every seam.
2. Cut and Square on the Rotating Mat — Trim one side of your block with your rotary cutter and ruler, then spin the mat for the next side. Swap in a fresh 45mm blade when cutting drags.
3. Mark Your Fabric — Use the heat-erasable pens to mark seam lines, darts, and placements — white for dark fabrics, blue/red/black for light. The marks vanish under your iron later.
