Everything you need to know about Madam Sew's Heat Tape

Safely secure your custom designs throughout the entire heat-transfer application process. 

Ideal for adhering heat-transfer vinyl (HTV), iron-on designs, transfer paper, and other heat-transfer materials to a variety of fabrics. 

For multi layer or multi color designs or if you have a garment or substrate that can easily shift when you are trying to heat press it. The tape keeps your design in the same location. 

When you tape your design down, you can move it around, iron on it, press with it, peel with it. Your design will stay in place using this tape and is in the location you want it to be! Remove the tape after all your pieces are transferred to your fabric.

Use with any heat source:

Heat Resistant up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit (260 degrees Celsius) 

Comes off easily with no residue

Materials: Polyamide Tape with one adhesive side

1. Align your custom design to the fabric.

2. Pull tape from the roll and cut the length you need.

3. Adhere your design to the fabric using tape pieces along the edges. For smaller designs, one piece of tape on each side should be sufficient, but for larger designs you may need more pieces of tape to ensure no shifting. 

4. Press your design according to the specific directions for the heat transfer material. You can use MadamSew's Non-Stick Sheets to protect your design and iron. 

5. Let material cool then remove the tape and the plastic HTV film.
