The Magic of Natural Wool

The dense felted New Zealand wool is naturally fire-resistant and absorbs the heat from your hot iron immediately. Your pressed fabric receives heat from the iron and the mat. This increases your pressing efficiency when ironing seams and hems. The result is a very crisp and flat seam or hem. No more puckering, wavy or stretched results. The fabric pieces keep their shape because a wool pressing mat holds the fabric in place better. If you want, you can even pin the pieces to the mat.

I’ve used wool mats for a bit, just needed to replace

Perfect size. No smell, works so well-love my flat seams

Love it. Fits nicely on my sewing table and is just the right size to work with my mini iron.

Be careful, check your iron plate for material from the mat

I used the mat to press some seams, I didn’t notice that some black material from the mat got into the iron plate, as I pressed the seams that black material was left into my fabric and the iron. I had a very hard time cleaning the iron, fabric is not cleaning.
I do like how the fabric is smooth by using the mat

This is a great way to increase the quality of your pressing. It’s safe too. I have NEVER left my iron plate down to burn my ironing pad. Until now. I got distracted. For quite awhile. It scorched the wool mat badly. But it did not burn!!
