The Hot Hem Ruler does the measuring and folding for you: lay it along your fabric edge, fold the fabric over the top to the marked hem depth (anywhere from ⅛" to 10"), and press directly onto the heat-resistant ruler with the mini iron. No measuring tape, no pins, no guesswork — just a crisp, even fold every time. Between presses, the mini iron sits safely on its silicone rest.

1. Set the Mini Iron Rest beside your work surface and heat the Mini Iron on it.

2. Lay the Hot Hem Ruler along the fabric edge you want to hem.

3. Fold the fabric over the top of the ruler to your chosen depth using the ⅛"–10" grid lines.

4. Press directly onto the ruler with the mini iron; the heat-resistant wool holds the fold steady.

5. Slide the ruler out to reveal a crisp, even fold; repeat along the length of the hem.

6. For mitered corners, align the fabric to the 45° line, fold, and press.

7. Rest the iron flat on the silicone rest between presses; switch off when finished.
