1. Extra Large Wool Pressing Mat, 17 by 24 inches

• Size: 17 by 24 inches, the long version of the standard mat

• Material: 100% natural felted New Zealand wool, naturally fire-resistant

• How it helps: The dense wool holds the iron's heat and pushes it back through the fabric, so seams come out crisp from both sides

• Includes: A clear vinyl storage pouch

• Good to know: Steam can pass through the mat, so protect wood or delicate surfaces underneath

2. Protective Ironing Cloth 

• What it is: A see-through mesh cloth you lay over fabric before you iron

• What it does: Lets heat and steam through while keeping the hot iron plate off the fabric, so you avoid shine marks, scorch marks, and flattening

• Best for: Delicate and textured fabrics like silk, nylon, corduroy, and velour

• Heat: Use up to about 300F (150C). Keep to lower settings on delicate fabrics

• Care: See-through so you can watch what you are ironing. Reusable and machine washable, just toss it in the laundry

3. Seam Guide Ruler with Magnetic Seam Guide 

• Ruler: 5.5 by 2.5 inches, bright yellow-green so it shows up on any fabric, with 16 holes for seam widths from one-eighth inch to 2 inches

• Extras on the ruler: A quarter-inch pivot cross and a 45-degree line for trimming half-square triangles

• Magnetic guide (included): A small steel guide that sticks to the metal needle plate and keeps your fabric edge at the same seam width every time

• Contents: Three snap-on rolled hem feet in half inch, three-quarter inch, and one inch widths

• What they do: The curl at the front of each foot folds the raw edge under as you sew, so you get a neat rolled hem with no pinning or pre-folding

5. Heat Erasable Marking Pens with Refills 

• Contents: 4 pens (white, black, red, blue) plus 4 refills, one for each colour

• How they erase: The marks vanish with the heat of your iron at about 180F, with no washing needed

• Good to know: Store them tip-down with the cap on, and use within 5 months. Marks can come back if the fabric gets very cold

1. Set your seam width: put the Seam Guide Ruler on the needle plate, drop the needle into the hole you need, and click the magnet against the ruler edge. Take the ruler away and the magnet stays.

2. Sew a rolled hem: snap on the half inch, three-quarter inch, or 1 inch hem foot, feed the raw edge into the curl at the front, and sew. The foot folds the hem for you.

3. Mark your fabric: use the erasable pens for seam lines, darts, or notches. White shows on dark fabric, the others on light.

4. Press on the wool mat: press each seam on the 17 by 24 inch mat for a flat, crisp finish. The same iron heat erases your pen marks.

5. Protect delicate fabric: for silk, velvet, or corduroy, lay the protective cloth over the fabric and iron on top of it.

6. Sign your work: press the stamp on the black ink pad, stamp a corner or label, write the name and date, and set it with a hot iron.
