Everything you need to know about Madam Sew's Tube Turner Set
USER INSTRUCTIONS
Use the YELLOW ⅜ inch (9.5 mm) cylinder
- for ¾ inch (19 mm) to 1 inch (25 mm) fabric tubes
Use the RED ½ inch (13 mm) cylinder
- for 1 inch (25 mm) or larger fabric tubes.
For tubes thinner than ¾ inch we recommend sewing folded flat straps.
THREE EASY STEPS!
Step 1 – Once you have created your fabric tube, select the appropriate size TubeTurner cylinder. Slide cylinder into fabric tube until it is at sewn end.
If both ends of your fabric tube are open…insert the cylinder so it is about 1” from the end of your fabric tube, fold the end of the fabric over the tool and proceed with the directions below.
Step 2 – Insert the flat end of the corresponding rod into the cylinder from the closed side of the fabric and push the fabric through the cylinder until the fabric comes out the other side.
Step 3 – Grasp the protruded end of the fabric and pull the fabric through the tube.
Leave the rod inside to square up any corners of your closed fabric tube. Remove rod when done.
