Yes, you can pin, but sewing clips ...

    • are fast and painless
    • can hold a lot of fabric layers without distortion
    • are not too big, they don't get in the way when sewing
    • have have flat backs and flat sides - whatever you hold is held flat so that the hem or edge doesn't pucker or wrinkle up
    • are easy to find when you drop them on the floor
    • are a great alternative to sewing pins on projects where you don't want pinholes in your fabric (laminate, leather, vinyl, silk, satin, ...)
    • have line markings on the bottom to help you place your clips
    • are also loved by quilters for clipping binding in place when preparing to sew it up
    • are also referred to as hemming clips or wonder clips

If you haven’t used them, you must! They will come in handy for so many things related to needlework.

    • 50 clips in 1 box
    • Dimensions: 1 clip is  1 inch long x ⅜ inch wide, a clip opens to ½ inch.
    • Bright colors: red, orange, yellow, blue, green, pink, purple
    • Material: plastic and steel (contains nickel)

    The Plastic Clips

I was very impressed and pleased with the plastic clips and am using them to hold bias binding on quilts when I'm hand sewing the binding on, and when I'm machine sewing the bias binding on the quilt. So much easier and faster and I used them as I sewed along. It made the whole project so easy. I love them, and I highly recommend them. I used the bigger ones you sent. Great product.

    Transformative!

Sometimes a simple little tool comes along that completely transforms a basic task such as holding fabric together while sewing. That is what these little clips have done! No more pins! They don't stab me and they slip out smoothly while sewing. I love them! They also are handy for holding yarn ends when working on my knitting machine.

    Easy to use quilt clips

I love these clips when doing my binding. I attach the binding by hand and can easily move and adjust the binding clips as I move along.
