How to Use the Straight Stitch Foot
This is rather a strange looking foot with an elongated toe on the left of the presser foot.
This extra long toe allows rushed or multi layers of fabric to be grasped firmly, keeping your fingers safe.
The toe begins to control unruly fabric much earlier than a standard presser foot, meaning you don't need to use a stilletto or fingers to keep the layers or ruffles under control.
