Premium Quality - 11k+ 5 stars review

This finger presser is designed to make marking, pressing seams, and turning out corners on sewing projects as easy as possible for you.

Use it for a quick cold press for your quilt blocks or small sewing projects. No more running to your ironing board every 2 seconds. This finger presser acts like a lightweight portable iron!

With this tool, you avoid grease or dirt from your finger transferring to the fabric which can happen if you are using your own finger to press.

Whether you are creating patchwork masterpieces, clothes, pencil cases, or very detailed quilts, pressing seams is important, and this little tool can help. It’s a true must-have in any seamstress’, crafter’s, or quilter’s tool kit.

  • Made of durable plastic
  • 6 inches (15.3cm) long
  • ¾ inch (1.9 cm) wide at widest point
  • ¼ inch (.6 cm) thick at its thickest point

To use for pressing…just rub the flat head of the tool along the seam. The friction causes enough heat to get a nice press. The dimple on top guarantees proper finger placement which not only ensures accuracy, but also the right amount of pressure. The pointy tip is perfect for use along curved or long straight seams.

To use for marking…use the pointed end and while applying pressure, run it over your fabric while using a ruler or template to run it along. It will give you a slight creased mark that you can then follow.

To use it for turning sewing projects…use the pointed end to push out corners of items that you have turned out. This will help get those hard to get to corners looking nice and finished.

Handy Finger pressing tool

I'm new to quilting and realized there was a quick way to press open seams without picking up the iron every time. When I saw the Finger pressing tool from Madam Sew I knew it would be a time saver. It's so handy and helps speed up opening and pressing seams during a sewing project. It doesn't replace the iron for pressing seams but does a good job for little projects to use along with the iron.
